Food:
Breakfast: Oats-to-go. Today’s oats had:
-1/3 cup steel cut oats
-1 cup water
-1/2 cup soy milk
-2 tbs rolled oats
-2 tbs Ezekiel Original
-2 tbs raisins
-1 tbs oat bran
-1 large banana, sliced
-1 tsp creamy peanut butter

Lunch: Leftover veggie pita and a carrot stick, and later a couple of Turkish figs.


Fitness:
Nothing to fancy planned for today. I’d like to go for a 4 mile run after work.

Green heart:
I almost took the car to work today, but when I admitted I had no good reason, I footed it over to the bus stop.

Breakfast: Oats-to-go. Today’s oats had:

-splash of soy milk
-1 tbs oat bran
-2 tbs Ezekiel Original
-2 tbs raisins
-2 tbs rolled oats
-1 tbs creamy peanut butter
-1 banana, mashed

Really. I’m in such a bad mood. For your own good, stay out of my way.

Mood:
Grade A. Good night’s sleep. In bed at 9:45 and up at 6:45.

Food:
Breakfast: Lucas made me a glass of fresh juice (mostly carrots). I also whipped up a batch of oats-to-go and ate them at work.
Today’s oats:
-1/3 cup steel cut oats
-1 and 1/2 cup water
-3 tbs rolled oats
-1 tbs oat bran
-1 tbs ground flax seed
-2 tbs dried currants
-1 banana, sliced
-1 cup of carrot juice pulp
-2 tbs agave nectar
-a generous sprinkling of cinnamon

Recap from yesterday:

Fitness:
-50 minutes at gym (stretching, abs, arms, legs)
-4.5 mile run home (my first run in over a week. Felt good!)

Mid-afternoon snack: Granola bar
Pre-dinner: A handful of dried currants and a few forkfuls of leftover salad
Dinner: Spinach and mushroom quesadillas….spelt tortillas with spinach, mushrooms, and shredded cheese and Lucas’s homemade salsa. I had 6 triangles and a few swigs of beer.

Green heart:
I usually eat two meals at work, so naturally, I need napkins on a daily basis. But rather than use paper goods, I bring a cloth napkin from home. Reduce that paper waste!

Food:
Breakfast: Oats-to-go. Todays’ oatmeal had:
-1/3 cup steel cut oats
-1 cup water
-1/3 cup soy milk
-2 tbs Ezekiel Original
-1 carrot, shredded
-3 heaping tsp ground sesame
-2 tbs plump raisins
-cinnamon
-generous drizzle of agave nectar
Lunch: Leftover pasta & tomato sauce.

The week went by so fast. Awesome.

I’m so well-rested! I was exhausted last night and fell asleep early for once!

Food:
Breakfast: Lucas made me a fresh juice. I’m not sure what was it in exactly, but probably carrots, orange, apple, celery, ginger…..I made a batch of oats-to-go for work:
-1/3 cup steel cut oats
-1 and 1/4 cup water
-1/4 cup milk
-1 tbs crunch peanut butter
-1 cup carrot juice pulp
-2 tbs Ezekiel Original
-1 tbs agave nectar
-a sprinkling of cinnamon

Food:
Dinner: a handful of pistacchios and Fage Greek 2% yogurt with 3 tbs Ezekiel Original and a very generous drizzling of agave nectar. Too tired and not that hungry, so this was the perfect dinner.
